Val Lasser, a Paris and New York City native received their BMus in Vocal Performance and BA in Composition at Binghamton University. With BU’s Opera Workshop they have performed Gretel from Humperdinck’s Hansel and Gretel, Virtu in Monteverdi’s Coronation of Poppea, and the Squirrel and Shepard in Ravel’s The Child and the Enchantments.

Their works have been performed by the Momenta Quartet, Hub New Music, Modern Medieval Voices, EAMA Resident quartet, and Binghamton’s Chamber Choir among others. They were recently featured on WQXR’s Musical Families in the Studio with Host Simone Dinnerstein.

Val enjoys photography and has had experience shooting portraits, stage photography, weddings, branding, and headshots. They also love designing social media posts and concert posters for colleagues and for hire.
